Glass Onion: A knives Out Mystery peels itself away as an entertainingly bloated whodunit with ‘disruptors’ sent at the behest of techie genius like Elon Musk played by (Edward Norton).
The motivating factors and subtext surrounding it all may be a bit nebulous but many will have fun in an invitation to much backstabbing and double-crosses that may spin many a head.
A decent cast includes Kate Hudson, Day Bautista, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Haha, and Leslie Mom. But Johnson’s ace-in-the-hole is the former 007 Daniel Craig as returning Benoit Blanc, a Tee for the suer-rich who provides the lion’s share of acrid wit. Glass Onion though is in the link of most sequels through the filmmaker still has it over Kenneth Branagh with the Agatha Christie films.
