Expend4bles is a film that is based on action films pulled together without the adhesive of a story line to pull them together. It’s a lot of noise with no meaning.
The thin plot revolves in the group getting together again, in this car to prevent the discharge of a nuclear bomb. It moves around North Africa up to the East coast of Russia and lands in deep water.
Fighting and battling with a background of explosions fill the screen, but the story, the little there is told so poorly that the film is dull and a boring to watch.
There is a twist near the end, but any one watching the film will sort out the surprise long before it is revealed.
Expend4bles appears to be developed and produced by folks who just don’t care and blend action scenes which are overdone for those of us who just want to see fights and explosions on the screen. It has no tension or characters that we care about and the nuclear bomb is just a side effect rather than the center point of the script.
