Crimes of the Future

This new display of body horror from the maker of The Fly and Dead Ringers relates a synthetic world that may distress nearly all except his most loyal cineastes.  a display of performance art can be lurid from its metamorphizing, invasive means that reinforces a wistful tone with satirical tinges  Canadian David Cronenberg pushes the boundaries in his transgressive clinical stylings utilizing a cast that includes regulars like Viggo Mortensen and Don McKellar as well as newbies like Lea Seydoux and Kristen Stewart.  In this graphic rendering of human organs as ‘surgery is the new sex’ this may be too much of a visceral, vile helping especially on the big screen.
