Beast

Beast rather than offering tension and action in it’s characters, carries out a limited plot that is feeble-minded.

On a long planned trip a father (Idris Elba) brings his two daughters to a game reserve in South Africa managed by an old family friend.  Quickly the family is under attack be a rogue lion who seeks revenge against humans because his family has been killed by poachers.

The situations are so contrived that it is easier to laugh at the supposed danger than fear for the characters.  The asinine shallow script is totally defective and unbelievable.

Beast fails miserably.
