This delightful documentary chronicles about two months in the lives of a chorus out of Northampton, Massachusetts as they get ready for a one night only concert.

Young @ Heart centers on senior citizens who do interesting variations on songs, whether in rhythm and blues, rock, or even punk music.

In this nearly 24 member ensemble, some of which use to be doctors or teachers, they are feeling their way through a half-dozen or so new tunes. It's not so easy to grasp the melodies and lyrics.

The gradually poignant film probably goes against viewer expectations, even those of its demographic. It has the ability to unite creativity and camraderie in an unexpected way as the human interest nature deepens melodramatically.

Original artists like Prince and James Brown will like what these talented aging folks have done with their songs.

Young @ Heart is an inspirational tribute to the spirit of music and life for those who never wish to give up.
