This is like an episode of The Love Boat.
The film is filled with attractive young actors who all appear phony at one time or another which limits the effectiveness of the film.
The silly rules which each side of the romance battle follow, get in the way of feelings. How many times have we seen this before. With so many couples the script is terribly busy and never settles down to develop some real emotions between the characters. The script is content to float around from couple to couple creating problems and working the entire series of difficulties out as the film ends.
The story spends so much time manipulating the characters it's difficult to respect. Even with the limitations the film is better than it is and it even produces some laughs.
