This CG animated film is sure to please die-hard fans who have been eagerly awaiting the next episode to George Lucas' saga.

Dave Filoni takes on the directing job this time and the much-lighter-in-tone film is a prelude to this fall's Cartoon Network animated series.

The film uses quite a bit of humor and playful talk among the main characters - that is, between the heavy battle-laden action.

The story takes place between 2002's Star Wars: Episode II, Attack Of The Clones and 2005's Star Wars: Episode III, Revenge of the Sith, and begins with Anakin Skywalker, voiced by Matt Lanter and Obi-Wan Kenobi by James Arnold Taylor as the Galactic Republic's cloned soldiers battling Androids, headed by Count Dooku, voiced by the original Christopher Lee.

Many of our favorite characters are back; Yoda, R2-D2, the reliable C-3PO and even the disgusting Jabba the Hutt, whose baby is kidnapped.

There's also a new character who joins up as Anakin's alien apprentice. She's Ahsoka Tano (voice of Ashley Eckstein) and she's sassy and ready to match Anakin's every move. Most young boys aspired to be a Jedi when they grew up, now girls have a role model they can look up to also.

The sci-fi fantasy continues and just think, after the movie is over, you can go right out and purchase all of the new tie-in action figures that this animation inspires!
