Pinocchio

Once again the Disney studios has released one of its early classics to view on the theater screen.  This edition of Pinocchio features a restored release print which looks and sounds better than any previous reissue.  The film was restored frame by frame over a period of one year and the sound track was also improved to modern standards.

Pinocchio, from the book by Collodi, is far more memorable as the Disney film than the book.  The film is a joyful journey of the wooden puppet who in the end has his wish granted and he becomes a real boy.

Disney music ("When You Wish Upon a Star") won an Academy Award for best song and the film was honored with the Academy Award for best score.  "I've Got No Strings", "Hi-Diddle-Dee-Dee", and "Give a Little Whistle" round out the score which is unforgettable.

This 1940 classic will make you smile and hum along with the music.  See it on the big screen once again or be sure to bring a kid who hasn't seen it.  It's a treat you won't forget.
