Although I'm not a big fan of MTV's Pauly Shore, his expressive face and droll delivery makes him quite funny to watch.
Bones Conway (Shore) persuades his best friend, Jack (Andy Dick) to join the Army Reserves when they're fired from their appliance store jobs.
The two long-haired goof-offs enlist to get a $2,500 bonus that the recruiter offers, so they can buy a stereo store.
In spite of a flawed script, I fond myself laughing at Shore and his inept friends. There are a few sexual references, otherwise older kids will probably find In The Army Now silly and enjoyable.
