Christopher Lambert Stars in the third film in the Highlander series. He plays Scotsman Connor McLeod, an Immortal who's been roaming the world for over 400 years and he's beginning to show a little wear.
An Immortal can die only if another cuts off his head with a sword and the winner then sucks all the strength from the loser and becomes more powerful (you got that?).
McLeod is a good Immortal and the evil Kane (played by a ridiculously hammy Mario Van Peebles) follows him from ancient China to present day New York to kill him, so he can become a more powerful bad guy.
Lambert, a Frenchman who struggles with English, makes matters worse by playing a Scotsman here. The characters move from China to Scotland to New York and back and forth from century to century, adding confusion to an already muddled story.
The final conflict between McLeod and Kane takes place at an electric power plant, which is a good thing because the only special effects seem to be some cheesy blue lightning bolts coming out of the dead bodies.
