Hangover fans will most likely love the trilogy's final film. For the rest of the viewing public, not so much! It is definitely the weakest of the three. Overall a HUGE disappointment.
It appears the big name stars in this movie are happy the journey is over, breathing a long sigh of relief. Their performances appear to be halfhearted attempts to get a few laughs. Yet for the most part we keep waiting for some real humor which never arrives. It amounts to an hour and a half of four adults behaving like adolescent frat boys. Let's also throw in a headless giraffe, chickens on cocaine, and some dead dogs for good measure. It's just plain dumb.
(Zach Galifianakis') character Alan is more stupid than ever. Apparently, all the years of drugs and booze have fried his brain.
Oscar nominee (Bradley Cooper) as Phil must have signed on long ago for this sequel. Cooper's mediocre performance feels artificial and unnatural.
(Ken Jeong) Mr. Chow is back with an outright vengeance. Most of the action centers on his mean spirited character. Is there a Mr. Chow movie on the horizon? I sure hope not. This group of party animals needs euthanasia. Send the 'Wolfpack' 'Packing.'
