This attractive animated feature is filled with what is considered natural beauty which must be saved by a small group of characters that come from different worlds that don't know of or recognize each other.
It's MK's (Amanda Seyfred's) father who is the crazy dad din this one, something like Bells father in Beauty and the Beast. He is convinced there are little people in the forest which no one can see but do exist. MK the daughter doesn't believe either until she is shrunk to the size of the little leaf people who are in a classic battle to save the environment and therefore all creatures including the non believing humans. Beyonce is the queen who is ready to leave her position and must find a replacement.
the interaction of the good little people,MK her father and the bad characters lead by Mandrake (Christopher Waltz) is the sum of the story as it leads to an all out battle between good and evil.
It's all nice to look at but the story is limited and been used before, the only thing different are the slugs and they steal the picture.
