Enough

Enough

Jennifer Lopez plays "Slim," a waitress working in a diner, who meets her dream guy when he walks into the restaurant one day.  Mitch (Billy Campbell) is a rich contractor; they get married quickly and a baby girl is born.

After a few years Slim discovers her man is cheating on her and when she calls him on it, he beats her up.  After she is abused a few times, Slim takes her little girl and runs away.  Even though she changes their appearance and name, Mitch keeps finding them.

Slim goes to the police and asks what she can do to protect herself and her daughter, when she learns she can only take out a restraining order, she decides she's had "enough."

She begins taking control by enrolling in Rocky type training and prepares herself for the next time she meets up with her evil husband.

After scenes showing Lopez beefing up and displaying her rock-hard abs, we know she's ready to take on her cowardly man.

Lopez is believable in the part and Campbell does a good job convincing us that he's a bad guy.

Enough has a shaky beginning and the use of white titles on a black screens to set up scenes is  silly.  But, once Slim takes matters into her own hands, the story gets somewhat more interesting.
