Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo

Rob Schneider's Deuce Bigalow, should stick with cleaning fish tanks.  The best comedy in the film comes early on when Marlow Thomas (That Girl) poses and looks good in black lingerie and stockings while attempting to pay for sex from Deuce.  How could that innocent girl from G rated sixties television become a loose woman.  Beyond that nothing we haven't seen before transpires and worst, all of the jokes have been playing as previews on television.

Deuce has dreams but little skill and ability.  He falls into a house sitting job for Antoine Laconte (Oded Fehur).  All he has to do is not answer the phone and keep the place clean.  Of course everything that he touches sets off a chain of events that nearly destroy the apartment.  Antoine is a sexy gigolo with a list of clients.  With the help T.J. Hicks (Eddie Griffin) as his pimp, Deuce sets out to make enough money to repair the apartment.

His new business leads him to various adventures with women who have conditions which make them less than attractive as dates.  Marlow Thomas is the only one that is without a physical problem.  Each case inflicts wounds directed at folks with differences.  More obnoxious than funny Bigalow eventually brings confidence to the "misfit" women and everyone is better for the experience.

There is more sadness than joy in this feeble attempt at comedy.
