Clay Pigeons

Clay (Joaquin Phoenix) is a pigeon for Lester (Vince Vaughn) because he must conceal an affair with his best friend's wife.  It leads to a series of brutal murders that he is helpless to stop.

With the feel of Urban Cowboy Vince Vaughn spreads the heart of a soulless killer in a chilling powerful performance.  He is fascinating on the screen and is even compelling when his character is revolting.

Clay Pigeons is violent and filled with sex.  It presents an unrelenting paradox for Clay which is as tense as Deliverance and as silly as Fargo.

It is rated R for sex and violence.
