Starring Kristen Stewart, Corbin Bleu, Max Thieriot,

What could be more unusual than three 12 year olds planning and carrying out a bank heist?

It's for a really good cause of course, as Maddy's (Kristen Stewart - Panic Room) dad needs an expensive experimental operation to cure his paralysis.

Maddy asks her friends Gus (Max Thieriot), a mechanic at her father's go-cart track and Austin (Corbin Bleu), a computer whiz, to help her steal $250,000 to pay for the surgery. And because the two boys have a crush on the independent miss, they readily agree.

Mom (Jennifer Beals) was in charge of putting in the bank's security system, so Maddy gets a private tour of all of the inner workings of the multi-leveled, high tech building. She takes pictures of key pads with her cell phone, makes notes of password codes and plans the burglary precisely.

Each pre-teen has their own job which puts their individual talents to the test. Austin hacks into the computer system, Maddie uses her climbing skills to scale the steep wall to get to the safe which is located at the top of a 100 foot stack of safety deposit boxes, and Gus is in charge of their getaway, using go-carts.

Although this is a story about kids doing a grown up thing, the actual burglary is carried out like any an adult caper, and some of it is pretty exciting.

The kids are cute and capable and smart, and although they aren't exactly good role models everything works out in the end.
