The Brothers McMullen was honored with the top award at the 1995 Sundance Film festival and has received "thumbs up" from critics and movie goers alike.

The film examines the glories and complications of modern day romantic relationships and how a person's upbringing effects their later attachments. It stars Jack Mulcahy, Edward Burns and Mike McGlone as the brothers Jack, Barry and Patrick McMullen. Although each of these actors is good, it is Mike McGlone as Patrick who will win you over. He is really entertaining in his depiction of an Irish Catholic version of Woody Allen. I hope to see him in other rewarding roles and look forward to Ed Burns next directorial effort.
