Damon Wayans and David Alan Grier, who have worked together for four years on Fox's In Living Color, play brothers Daryl and Kevin Walker.
Daryl (Wayans) is a nerdy inventor who works at McDonalds during the day and fights crime at night as Blankman. He's a weird sight in red long johns, yellow rubber gloves and horned-rimmed glasses held together by wads of white tape. If Blankman showed up to save you, you'd probably think you were better off in the hands of the bad guys.
Brother Kevin (Grier) works at "Hard Edition," a tabloid TV show hosted by Kimberly Jonz (played by the lovely Robin Givens).
Kimberly in hot on the story of the identity of Blankman, the do-gooder that everyone is talking about.
Daryl doesn't have any super power to help him fight crime, he's just armed with his utility belt, which holds all of his strange but clever inventions. He has stink bombs for ammunition, a hiking boot that he throws and returns to him like a boomerang and jet shoes that are really inline roller skates, so he can make fast getaways.
As you can see, he's whacky and silly, but kids will definitely find Blankman a lot of fun.
